Initially, this was planned because we wanted to meet up with Michelle, who came back from the US after she left last year. Alas, she couldn't make it last minute D:
Anyway we still went ahead. Uncle Jang, Bandar Puteri, was the place! I've never been to Uncle Jang before, but I've heard reviews that it's good. I personally am not a fan of Korean food but I was kinda excited to come here after seeing some of the food pictures on the Internet. Its specialty is Dak Galbi, which is something different from rice and other weird ingredients that come with it (no offence!). By the way, I just found out through a food blog that Dak Galbi a popular South Korean dish especially for students on a low budget. I think this explains why the price is surprisingly reasonable!
My friend advised not to order the spicy flavour, because it is SUPER SPICY. The menu even has "WARNING!!!!" next to the food item lol. Normal flavour is just perfect. But of course, if you love to eat really REALLY spicy food and would like to take the risk, go ahead :P
Dak Galbi consists of diced chicken, cabbage, potato strips and rice cake. I thought the amount of rice cake is too little (I love the rice cake!). Anyway, this is a two-person serving.
And after frying, it looks like this! Don't worry, you don't have to do it yourself as the waiter will come and fry it every few minutes.

When it looks like this, it's ready to eat :D Oh by the way, I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I love kimchi! Or more specifically, Uncle Jang's kimchi :P I've always disliked kimchi very much, but whoa I couldn't stop after the first bite. I'm serious.
We decided to add on cheese and rice. The guys had udon, which I preferred more. The rice cake mixed with melted cheese is so yums! I actually love Dak Galbi - especially wrapped with green coral :D
We ordered sliced pork meat as a side dish. No regrets, as the meat is succulent and tastes really good with the vegetables. The sauce is one-of-a-kind too! Altogether, our meal costs RM23 for each person.

Omg, we do look like kids dressing up to play masak-masak :P Well I'm pretty satisfied with the food and environment so I definitely would like to come back again!
So, next stop for dessert at SetiaWalk :D The appearance of Sweethut proves that I haven't been to SetiaWalk in awhile, as I don't remember it being there the last time.

Anyway, still enjoyed the cool air. We ordered a durian pancake (it's totally not a pancake but I don't know what's it called... It doesn't even look close to a pancake lol) - which was amazinggg! It was filled with real durian flesh and cream. So heavenly. Here's a caramel pudding with mango :D
Chocolate lava cake! :D :D :D My first time tasting it (because I failed at baking this a few weeks ago -.-). Ahh words cannot describe how awesome it is. The warmth of the cake and melted dark chocolate goes marvelously well with the coolness of the ice-cream. Mmm mmhm!
