A couple of months back, my family went for a trip to Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. We stayed at The Chateau, which is the world's first organic spa and wellness resort. The resort's really cool because the design was inspired by the 18th century Haut Koenigsbourg castle in Alsace, France.
(They even have French chefs!)
It's also an award-winning resort, having bagged the Seven Stars Organic World Award among many other accolades. They really live up to their reputation as they provide first class service (or what I thought, lol) - something that I'm not used to, which made me feel a teeeeeny bit weird.
According to the guide, the resort was initially built as a casino but because of political problems, it underwent renovation for about 10 years and recently just opened its doors to the public last year.
The people working there - porters, receptionists, drivers, guides, etc - are mostly of Filipino descent. And they're a really kind and friendly bunch! Every one of them never fails to put a smile on their face when they see you :)
When we arrived, the porter ushered us into this VIP room where we were served organic beverages (EVERYTHING in the resort is organic, mind you). We had pomegranate and some sort of lemonade drink... I liked the pomegranate more.
Saw a glass bowl of candy on the table. I took one and blehhh... didn't like it. (It's organic remember? That's why it tasted horrible.. to me)
Andddd here's our room! It's a two bedroom suite and it's freaking huuuuge! Okay maybe coz I've never stayed in a suite (!!!!) before so yeah. It's two storeys!!

The bath salts are from the Dead Sea (omg I don't have to go there for the floating-on-water experience already!). Hehe but no, you can't float completely in the bathtub... So I'm still going to the Dead Sea sometime.

After spending time in the room, we went down to explore the resort grounds. One of the receptionists gave us a tour around the place. Saw these pretty candle holders.

The La Bio Boutique is the resort's gift shop, and the (organic) items range from food stuff to skin care and sports wear.
The spa occupies a whole floor below the lobby.
It's the first European concept spa in Asia, which deliver individualised therapies and programmes including stress relief, body sculpt and body pamper among others.

Didn't get to take pictures of the rooms and equipments they use, but I can tell you that everything is state-of-the-art. Guess I don't have to tell you how expensive the spa packages can be.
