Fans of David Archuleta should already know this by now! The former American Idol runner-up is coming to Malaysia for a full concert this time! :DDD

This is like a dream come true to me, a David Archie fan! Hahaha well. I bought the RM190 ticket, the numbered sitting (in red) towards the back.

Ticket pricing is at RM300 for VIP, RM230 (red, front) and RM190 (red, back) for numbered seating, and RM150 (orange) and RM90 (yellow) for free seating (All prices shown excludes RM3 ticket handling fees). Tickets are made available through Ticket Charge (www.ticketcharge.com.my) and AirAsia RedTix outlets (www.AirAsiaRedTix.com).

I'm super duper excited cuz this is the first official concert I'm going to! Well I wanted to reserve the first (special) spot for Taylor Swift but she went to Singapore to perform instead of Malaysia :( So sad. But never mind, David comes next! Heheh.

All thanks to Sony Music Malaysia for bringing David here ^.^

Hill climbing at Broga

The trip was originally organised by my homefellowship leader, but it didn't work out cuz he sprained his leg.

So, 2 weeks ago on a Saturday, my family and I went up to Broga Hill in Semenyih. My dad wanted to see the sunrise. I wanted to see the sunset. (One and only reason: I don't have to wake up so FREAKIN' early)

We went for the sunrise. *with eyelids half-closed*

But too bad, we left the house quite late - nearly 6 by the time we hit the highway. It took us about an hour or so to reach Semenyih. And it was about 7 when we started to climb! (Note: Sunrise time is around 6.30-7am)
-_________-

The sun was starting to peek out from the clouds when we were walking to the foot of the hill.

I didn't take much photos when I was climbing because it's dangerous to hold something (especially if it's valuable like your camera!!!) while climbing such steep hills.

FIRST, you'll probably lose your balance and fall (the worst thing).
SECOND, you'll probably drop your camera when you fall.

I was huffing and puffing like craaaazy when I haven't even gone up to a quarter of the hill. Unhealthy, much? =/

It's better to go in a group, because some parts are tough to climb. So having lots of people around you makes it quite safer.

After and hour or so of climbing, we finally reached the top. Okay not really to the top, but almost to three quarters of the way, heh.

Sooo, I suppose the scenery after the magical moment looks like this?

Photobucket

Still *huff* on *puff* the *huff* way.... *breathes in*

Photobucket

After a few more minutes. Now this, is three quarters. =)

Photobucket

I'm not sure about the organic farm that arrow is supposed to be pointing at. Quite a lot of people were resting at this place. Yes me included. (duhhhh!)

Photobucket

I'm on top of the hill!!!!!!! *not really* Oh shaddap.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Well, it was a public holiday so it's no surprised that many people were there. Yeah.. so we were sort of in a group :P

Photobucket

Whispers: I don't see the attraction of Broga Hills though. And the excitement of climbing. Oh my, I hope I make it down alive.

Peace-ing at three quarters. I am SO NOT climbing the last part.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Nope, I'm certainly not climbing the last part. Look how freaking steep it is?! Some even just slide down O.O

Photobucket

Oh by the way, I saw some instructors from Outbac Broga. They give free hiking trips (if you join the camp that is). More info if you click the link.

Okay, last view of the scenery! (Nothing much to see actually, except the clouds and the far faraway hills -.-)

Photobucket

I'm so going down already. Okay wait. I dread going down.

Thinks: Perhaps I should just stay on top for the rest of my life.. *bites fingernails*

Oh before that, look what I found:

Photobucket

It's not only one pair of shoes, mind you. A few pairs were dangling by their shoelaces! Whoaa what were those people thinking? o.O Leaving their mark on Broga Hills, L-O-L!

My mixed-expression face. Tired, annoyed, frustrated, amused, scared.
Photobucket

One LAST view.

Photobucket

Going down is definitely creepier than climbing up, in my honest opinion. Cling on to your partner for goodness' sake! It's important to wear shoes with strong grips on the soles, to prevent slipping.

Finally, at the end of the climb. This is the part before the actual hill. It's full of palm oil trees (Is that it? Or whatever you call it) so you'll know.

Photobucket

I love the sun rays streaming down to earth! :P

Photobucket

Spotted a cutey tiny plant.

Photobucket

A whole tree of cempedak! Or jack fruit. Erm, nangka? Okay seriously, I'm always confused between these three. I just can't remember which is which! *Like, is jack fruit called cempedak in Malay, or nangka?* And I don't bother to -.-

Photobucket

Think it was 8 something then. Many people were going down too. It's much safer as I told you before. Lots of hands will grab you if you fall. Hopefully.

Photobucket

Photobucket

1.7km almost drained out much of my energy already. 4.8km ahh!?!? Don't even think about it man, haha.

P/S: A note of advice. Start your journey up the hill by 5.30am to catch the sunrise. You do not want to regret.
