"WANTED: Dead or alive" (?)

So for those of you who remember, British boy band The Wanted played Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon, sometime in September.

I was then doing my internship with The Star, so here are the links to the:-

If you're interested.

Decided to post the pictures I took during their concert. Quite badly taken by my compact camera lol.

Honestly, I didn't quite really enjoy myself during the show, coz I only know two songs from them, namely Glad You Came and Chasing the Sun, so most of the time I was just standing there awkwardly :/ Totally not fun when you don't know any of the lyrics and the fans around you are screaming their lungs out...

So DJ Goldfish & Blink opened the show.

Hosts were MTV VJs Holly and Rich.

This is Kyle Patrick from The Click Five!

I was quite restless by this time coz the main stars' appearance was delayed... and delayed... Grr. (Okay I admit initially I thought they were The Wanted LOL *facepalm*)

Apparently, they're just the backup band. Hehehehehehehe....

They finally came out after bajillion years!!! Here's Max George and Tom Parker.

Nathan Sykes! He's the same age as me :D

Jay McGuiness (his name so kool) and Siva Kaneswaran (quite Taylor Lautner-like)!

Them lucky girls!!! :(

He's one heck of a talent haha.

This was how it looked like when the concert ended...

I had to type this down, I just had to...

This was what happened during the interview the next day.

Siva: You look familiar. Have I seen you before?
Max: You're cute!
Jay: I like your shirt! *does the VW sign*

OMGOSH! TOTAL FANGIRL MOMENT!!!

Everybody say 'Teehee!'

Here's the link to my article published in The Star R.AGE on 7 September:  http://rage.com.my/content/stories/everybody-say-%E2%80%98teehee%E2%80%99/

Basically, what you need to know about the whole event is stated in there! ;)

So actually, this post would mostly be for you to feast your eyes upon the main star of the day, hmm? Lots of exclusive pictures just for ya! Enjoy~

Before the doors were open for fans to flood in, Ryan Higa did a short video interview with people from the TV station. 8TV if I'm not mistaken.

Seconds right before they decide to open the doors, my friends (Marcus & Kelvin) and I stood our ground at the front of the stage. I don't know why we ended at the left - when we could've been at the centre T___T Anyway, the place was still quite strategic la so all was well :D

Erm, except for the fact that somehow there would be an invisible force pushing you to the back inches by inches (it's really just a bunch of girls to my left) and had me feeling pretty annoyed...

Ryan's videographer Greg decided to pan the camera across the auditorium and got the fans all excited!

After hours of waiting (haha no was just exaggerating), Jin - the incredible host - finally appeared!

Then Darren Ashley (love his intensifying red hair!) came on stage as opening act :D He totally rocked the house down with his awesome beatboxing... and... his super electronic... stuff. He's amazing and I love him (Y)

Then it was time to introduce Ryan!

Jin called a SUPER LUCKY fan on stage to do the honour! Arghhhh ASDFGHJKL she must be ecstatic beyond words! She's quite pretty btw...

Anddddddddddddd he's here! I was almost, almost deaf with the horrendous screams and squeals coming out all at once -_____-

This is the part where he said "saya sayang padamu"! Gosh he sounded sooo cute.

So then Jin started scrolling for questions on Twitter to ask Ryan! #TeeheeKL was used.

THE CRAZY, SCREAMING FANS.

Surprise surprise! Joseph Germani bringing some local food for Ryan to try ;)

Oh, the 'opening ceremony' of the king of fruits XD Ryan was looking a lil' apprehensive...

Jin assuring Ryan that he has nothing to worry about the taste of durian!

And here goes...

HAH. Caught his expression. Hah! His and Joseph's were two exact opposites! ;p Immediately after that, Ryan took a slug of water..... and he ate mints! Was it that bad? :/

While he was recovering from the 'unpleasant experience', Darren Ashley serenaded him with a love song, written specially for him! Awwwwwww~

The lyrics included Darren taking a picture with Ryan, and he was so sporting he actually went up to Darren for a photo! Sweeeeeet.

Moving on, Ryan went backstage for a simple costume change and came out 'performing' his As Long As You Love Me (by Justin Bieber) parody. The secret: He was lip-syncing the whole time! :p

The Q&A session continued right after...

After the session, fans also get to meet Ryan Higa and take a photo with him! With extra charge of course.

We lingered around for quite a bit, taking pictures with famous local Youtubers instead :p Coz we get the whole afternoon with Ryan the next day so we wait! (Haha okay, not really whole afternoon la...)

Btw, here's a snapshot of my article, written together with Kelvin! :)
