I saw David Archuleta LIVE :)

Hey guys, pardon me as I have not updated in a long time due to exams and stuff :)

So, the happiest moment of my life was going to David Archuleta's concert! So so so happy that he came to Malaysia :D (lots of my favourite artistes always go to Singapore for their Asia tour -.-)

And guess what, my friend won SIX MEET & GREET passes to meet David Archuleta omgggggg! So you can see how excited was I! :P

Photobucket

Kat's dad drove us to Bukit Jalil LRT Stadium and we took the LRT down to Stadium Negara.

So many people already.. It was 6pm, the time where we were supposed to go in for the meet and greet. There are winners from various places: FlyFM, Galaxie magazine etc etc.

Photobucket

Wheeeee got the meet and greet pass! Sho excited :D

Photobucket

And Kat.. xD

Photobucket

They were selling David Archuleta's T-shirts and his CDs and everything!!! OMG regretted that I didn't bring enough money D:

Photobucket

Sadly, the patterns were limited :( And it was quite expensive at RM40 per shirt..

Photobucket

Finally finally, the doors opened. I think we waited for more than an hour! Sheeesh I still can't how Malaysians manage their time -.-"

Omg. David is just inside the room on the right! So close to him already! :D

Photobucket

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. *STARSTRUCK*

Photobucket

I hate myself for being so speechless and just.. stunned. He actually looked at me and asked "Hi, how are you?" with his oh-so-charming smile and oh-so-gorgeous eyes and I just melted under his gaze and only mumbled "Hi David, I'm fine.."

*kicks myself mentally* Aaaargghhh!!?

I could have just said "OMG I'M SO EXCITED TO FINALLY MEET YOU DAVID!!!!!! YOU HAVE SUCH A NICE SMILE AND I JUST LOVE YOUR EYES!!!!!!! CAN I HUG YOU?????"

Yeah. I could have said that. But no, I opted for some stupid reply :( The worst thing is, I didn't ask for a hug from him!!!!! OHGOSH BIGGEST REGRET D:

The M&G kinda sucked.. it lasted for less than 10 seconds! Go in >> take a picture >> Go out. Awww :(

*Sigh* It's okay.. AT LEAST I GOT TO MEET HIM AND TAKE A PICTURE WITH HIM. And his hand touched my back!!!!!! Ah ah ah ah ah~

After much excitement about it, (omg I was standing so close to him, just right next to him!!!) we went to have our dinner.

Saw this freaky spiky pokey caterpillar on the way. I like it's colour though! :P

Photobucket

We went to Petaling Street aka "Chi Cheong Kai" aka Chinatown. (paiseh, I didn't know Petaling Street IS Chinatown before this) I just love the atmosphere of town xD

Photobucket

In Kenny Roger's! Two craaaaazy David Archuleta fans :P

Photobucket

Photobucket

After our dinner (which all of us were so bloated thanks to the quarter meal, and Kat's dad treated me so thanks to him too!), we walked back.. full of energy.

Photobucket

Honestly, Chinatown doesn't look "china-like" so why is it called Chinatown? I prefer Petaling Street! :P

Photobucket

It's just people selling their stuff by the street and there are hawker stalls everywhere.. that's not very "china" huh?

Photobucket

Back at the stadium! (The sunset's so pretty)

Photobucket

We're inside!!!! The stadium's like, so old haha. Those are the RM90 ticket winners ;) Very hyped up and some TV guy was shooting them screaming and everything..

Photobucket

The badge that Sophia bought :) David's so handsome and cute at the same time! ^^

Photobucket

Me and Kat.. a bit blur though :/

Photobucket

And the stage. The red chairs are all for the VIP and VVIP tickets. Plastic chairs heh. But who cares anyway, they get the best view! ;)

Photobucket

The stadium's pretty empty actually.. it was a good thing - in fact, the BEST thing - cuz all of us at the top were asked to move down to where there were empty seats! In the end, we got the RM230 seats (after only paying RM190 ehehe) :D

Photobucket

The badge I bought ;)

Photobucket

After a chinese local singer's opening act and some false alarms cause by those crazy fans screaming at nothing.. (sigh)

...David burst out on stage with Stomping The Roses :D

Photobucket

Photobucket

He sang more than twenty songs in one and a half hour. That was so unbelievable because when he sang the last song Gravity, I was like - whaaaat??! Nooooooo that was FAST! I can't believe his concert is ending already! :( How I wish it was never-ending...

But of course, the fans were chanting 'We want more! We want more!" and David - being his cute angel self - did oblige by singing two or three more songs! Yaaaaaaaay~

After the concert, where I was experiencing post-concert blues (and still is, by the way), we walked back to the LRT station. The way back was so dark and freaky :S

At the station waiting for the train.. thought of taking a picture with his poster! I like the way he looked and how he posed here :P

Photobucket

But that was a bit blur :/ So I took another one!

Photobucket

(Omg so sampat and conscious with people looking at me..)

Last but (certainly) not least, here's a cropped out picture of only him and me ♥

Photobucket

Awwwwww I know I will miss him very very much until his next concert!!!!!! ♥ Will definitely be a much better and crazier fan when I meet him again - I WILL meet him no matter what! Hehe :P

P.S. I actually took a one-minute video of every song as I intended to share with you guys here, but because of my awesome computer speed I gave up. So sorry :/

I won something!

Just when I was starting to stress out about my life (which now currently revolves around exams and more exams.. SIGH), I received a postage from Esther! That was enough to make me get excited.

Sometime ago, her blogshop (http://minibitesonline.blogspot.com/) celebrated its 1st anniversary, and there was a giveaway! You just have to post her blog link on Facebook/Twitter, then you wait. The winners get selected randomly..

AND I WON!!!!! :D (can't believe my luck cuz I'm not lucky in winning stuff)

I chose what I wanted - a pink Simpsons' Donut ring. Cuteness!
But in the end, I got a much pleasant surprise! Now let's open the package...

Which was neatly wrapped with a ribbon; so pretty!

Photobucket

And guess what?

She made me a pink macaron ring! One that is not selling in her blogshop!

Photobucket

All her stuffs are made out of polymer clay. I heard it's very difficult to shape them as they're quite hard. So you can see Esther has put in much effort - marvellous work!

So adorable right!!!? ♥

Photobucket

Oh and not forgetting her lovely note :')

Photobucket

Reminds me of macarons everytime I wear it. The sweet and gooey dessert.. yum yum! ♥

Photobucket

P.S. Visit Minibites for more "sweet treats"! (:

P.P.S. Updates about David Archuleta's concert and The Big One (Switch.up TV's video workshop) up by the end of August! Sorry for the delay - don't forget to check back!

Everyone's hyped up for CHEER

Last Sunday, CHEER 2011 was being held at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil. It was my first time going there, and I went as a BRAT (The Star R.AGE Young Journalist Programme which stands for Bright, Roving, Annoying Teens) for a coverage - sort of.

Photobucket

Was outside before (really) entering the stadium. There I met Lii Yung and Karisma, two other BRATs from the same workshop as me.

Photobucket

Inside, the crowd was cheering so loudly. I really salute them, the loyal supporters of their own respective teams participating in CHEER. It wasn't even 9am!

Photobucket

Photobucket

The judges' table and media table were down there.. and the blue mat is the place where the cheerleaders will perform their stunts.

Photobucket

The blue shirt team is from Sri KL. They have two teams representing them - Cyrens and Rayvens. Cyrens was last year's champion. The supporters are really semangat !

Photobucket

People filling up the stadium... Honestly, me and my friends were kinda lost as we didn't know what to do. Then we met up with the other BRATs, talked to Sharmila (from R.AGE) and we went around the stadium.

Photobucket

We were supposed to interview the audience/supporters/participants, tweet about the event, blog about it on Tumblr.. and pretty much that.

The other BRATs were sitting at our 'base', hogging the laptops and tweeting every detail of the event, while me and Karisma and Lii Yung walked around. We ended up sitting below Dynamitez, close to the 'stage'.

The crowd was getting bigger, and LOUDER and so super energetic. When it was time, hosts Jeremy Teo from RedFM and Tuah from Suria FM came out and got the crowd even hyped up!

Photobucket

By the way, Jeremy is cuuuuuute! :P

First team to perform was Pytonz from SMK 7 Shah Alam.

Photobucket

After their performance, Jeremy and Tuah were calling volunteers for a quick game in between

Photobucket

Vulcanz All-Girls from SMK Seafield

Photobucket

At the judges' table.. you can see all the judges were so intense on allocating marks. Haha stressed out probably :P

Photobucket

A very interesting dynamite mascot for Dynamitez! No wonder they won Best Supporter Award huh :P

Photobucket

Falcons from Sekolah Sri Bistari

Photobucket

Dynamitez from SMK Damansara Jaya

Photobucket

The hosts with a superhero mascot for the Blitzers

Photobucket

Some boys volunteered to play this game...

Photobucket

...where they gotta imitate the pose of the girl in the CHEER logo

Photobucket

Which is this! Hehe hilarious...

Photobucket

Tigers from SMK Datok Lokman

Photobucket

Gemz from SMK Sri Hartamas

Photobucket

Titans Junior from SMJK Ave Maria Convent

Photobucket

Cyclonez from SMK Bandar Sri Damansara. Their bright costumes are interesting.. :P

Photobucket

Cyrens from Sri Kuala Lumpur. They sure did put on a great performance to nail the top spot once again! Huge congrats to them (:

Photobucket

Jawbreakers from SMK Bandar Utama 2

Photobucket

Vibrant from SMK Puteri Titiwangsa

Photobucket

Valiant from SMK Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah

Photobucket

Panthers from SMK Assunta

Photobucket

Stunners from Sri KDU

Photobucket

Xylurf from SMK Convent Peel Road

Photobucket

When Jeremy announced that Muriel is gonna be up later, their super enthusiastic supporters started shouting and screaming at the top of their lungs!

Photobucket

But they were faced with competition from Dynamick (supporters of Dynamitez and Mickeymitez) which was just next to them.

So both teams were competing to see who will shout the loudest :P (my eardrums nearly burst cuz I was standing just below lol)

Photobucket

Muriel from SMK (P) Pudu

Photobucket

This panda is a really cute mascot for Xavier! It was quite popular among photographers and the audience as many of them were taking photos of/with him.

Photobucket

Hurricanes from SMK USJ 4

Photobucket

Rayvens from Sri Kuala Lumpur

Photobucket

Anchorz from SMK Seri Bintang Selatan

Photobucket

Stompers from SMK Bandar Utama 3

Photobucket

Then it was lunch break, so we walked around after having our lunch (which was sponsored) and I saw this! LOL this is so ridiculous. I mean what's the point of having the machine when you can just walk around it lolol. #fail

Photobucket

Pirates All-Girls from SMK Cochrane

Photobucket

Blitzers from SMK Bandar Utama 4

Photobucket

I actually enjoyed their performance. I think they could have be in the Top 3 if it wasn't for one member who fell and tore her ligaments somewhere.. It was such a pity, really. But the other members still carried on, and I admire their spirit despite what happened (:

Xavier from SMK Convent Bukit Nanas

Photobucket

After that I didn't continue watching the show, cuz me and Karisma went around interviewing people. I missed the boys cheearleading, aiks :/

LOL btw I don't even know why we were interviewing them cuz it's not like we're gonna write something about this event anyway. I mean, I didn't even get to touch the Tumblr blog when Sharm said to blog on it.. lol

The yellow shirts and pink shirt supporters were supporting Panthers and Calyx respectively

Photobucket

A cheerleader from Calyx

Photobucket

Form 2 cheerleaders from Pirates. So adorable, even in the way they talk! :P

Photobucket

From Rayvens, who won the second place! Job truly well done as they're newcomers! :P

Photobucket

Another one from Team Xavier

Photobucket

Last group of people to be interviewed, supporters rooting for Titans!

Photobucket

Hehe and also, we didn't miss the chance to have our photo taken for FREE by Canon at their booth! Whoaa thanks a lot man, I love how well the photos turned out. Good memories to keep :')

Photobucket

We actually took 3 shots cuz we thought they were only going to print out 1 copy for each shot. So you know, each person gets to keep a copy. We didn't know they printed out 3 copies for each shot, but then they only chose 2 out of 3 shots.

Photobucket

Erm, was that confusing? LOL. Sorry, didn't mean to :P

Supporters from Dynamick were all running down to the platform from their seats when it was announced that they won the Best Supporters Award. Haha I think they deserve it, what with their shouting and cheering non-stop and the dynamite mascot xD

Photobucket

A huge sea of RED x)

Photobucket

Not Man U okay.. haha!
